DIN. 4165 CIGAR SOCKET/RECEPTACLE

The accessory FS612V allows a connection to the battery through a fast plug-in.
The socket, fixed to the vehicle through a specific ring nut, is in conformity to the standard ISO4165. It is specific for the charge of batteries and it allows the connection of little electronic devices too (Max 1 Amp.).
In few seconds you will be able to connect your BC Battery Controller to the cigar socket and start the automatic cycle of charge and maintenance.

Versatility:

• The cigar socket ISO4165 is not only a current input, but it can be also used as an output to supply little electronic devices provided with a cigar socket plug (max. output current 1 Amp.). It's ideal to keep satellite navigators always under charge.
• It may be positioned on the dashboard/instrument panel (see picture), on a flank, on the number plate support or in any internal compartment of the vehicle.

Installation of the socket:
The installation is easy and with no possibility of mistake (polarity inversion, etc).
You have to unfasten the socket from the wire, unscrew the fixing nut and insert it in a hole with a diameter of 18 mm (0.71 inches). Finally, fix the socket with the nut and restore the connection with the battery connector.

Fixing to the battery:
The eyelets are dimensioned so that they adapt to the standards of every battery on the market (installed on motorbikes, motorcycles and light vehicles). In the same way, however, the eyelets can be used for the permanent installation on medium/high capacity batteries (more than 40 Ah), inserting the eyelet in the screw of the clamps reaching the battery.

Quality:
The cable is realized with high quality materials specific for the use in the Automotive industry (resistance to oils, greases, atmospheric agents and thermic/mechanical stress guaranteed). The connector suitable to be employed in tough conditions is a guarantee of quality and endurance of the battery connecting system.

Safety:
